This body of work was made possible through an Australia Council for the Arts New Work grant and an artist residency at Khoj Kolkata. It was exhibited in Kolkata, India in 2010 as part of Stains on my Chintz, curated by Dr Paula Sengupta, then in a solo exhibition at the Australian High Commission in Singapore. In 2011, the vanishing was the featured exhibition at the Australian Animal Studies Conference Global Animal at the University of Wollongong.
