These textile bodies have been sewn into being, into memory. They are loose collaborations with those who gave them. Reinforced and repaired during the making process as I held the givers in mind. Their contribution is also woven into the fabric of the work, the wearing and washing, the breaking down of the cloth over time. The work is slow, it folds and gathers. The stitches find their own path, others follow, we embrace.
